Facing cancer can be challenging for you and your loved ones. Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute provides a support person to help you and your family navigate through these unfamiliar times. Clinical Social Workers provide one-on-one support and counseling services to you and your family members. Social workers can help you deal with the physical, emotional, and practical demands you may experience. Oncology social workers have specialized knowledge of the impact of cancer on individuals and family. Our social worker will meet with each patient to help connect them to appropriate resources, support and services.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Dealing with cancer can often be overwhelming for the patient and their family. Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers can help you cope with and manage the normal emotion responses that often accompany any illness. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker is available throughout your visit and is also available for scheduled appointments. Assistance is also provided for practical needs such as transportation, community resources, education opportunities, and cancer support groups.

Amy Roberts LCSW

Amy Roberts is licensed under the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. 

She has been practicing social work since 1999 and has over 10 years of experience in the health care setting.
