RBOI Support Groups

Cancer is challenging by itself, and dealing with a pandemic and social distancing can add to the stress. At RBOI we are focused on keeping you and your family safe and supported. These videos introduce you to services that you can access by computer or phone from the comfort of your home. Led by our licensed clinical social workers, they include support groups, courses, meditation, and additional resources to help you and your loved ones navigate these unprecedented times. Give us a call if you’d like to connect.

RBOI’s support groups, counseling, and guidance in finding financial and medical resources and assistance are available to you at any time, from pre-diagnosis throughout treatment and beyond. Wherever you are in your care, our multidisciplinary team can give you personalized attention and can help you through navigation, treatment, and survivorship.

Call the office closest to you to inquire about these groups, locations, times, and details. Some groups are available only in certain locations, but can be added to your closest office if there is enough interest. Other groups and programs may also be available. Please call our social workers.

Meditation is a vital way to purify and quiet the mind, thus rejuvenating the body.

Guided Meditation

Cancer brings stress, anxiety and worry. What if a simple daily practice of clearing your mind could help you feel better, sleep better and concentrate better? Meditation is just such a practice. And the best thing is you can do it anywhere and anytime without special equipment or an expensive membership. Relax your mind and breathe easy.
